After a trip, my casting buddies hand over the the reel. Oh yeah, It's pile up when another 2 Morrum need to change their bearings. Trying to fit into the time slot to do this. Well, I've being busy lately...sorry...
The hard part is when the spool is stuck to the reel. The pinion and spool shaft somehow stuck to each others. Take a peek into the pinion holes. Corrode and full of residue bond the shaft thus providing a very painfull experience.
Not to mention, the cast control knob bearing failure. Not able to turn as usual, this thing stuck to the housing. Well, another hard part....
I've managed to removed it but unfortunately, it cant be use anymore. This guys lucky because I have spare. I've fitted with ABEC7 for the replacement.
The edge of the spool has be polished to removed the dirt....
Well, the bearing is ready for the jobs.
And after that, The Curado is back again as a reel. Not a pile of scrap....wheeeeeeeewwwwww....one hell of a job...
